The marvel that is Anton Du Beke, partnered with the wonderful Erin Boag hit Bristol Colsten Hall last week with their latest display of showstopping talent and entertainment.
I am of course talking about their new show Steppin' Out.
I was unable to attend the show myself (regrettably) but have been informed by others who were lucky enough to go that it was a fantastic show.
Anton, always the entertainer, kept the crowd engaged with his witty one liners and ad libbed jokes, whilst Erin dazzled the crowds with her beautiful array of elegant gowns. In between changes, West End star and singer Graham Bickly took to the stage, performing and entertaining the crowd with some American Jazz classics.
Accompanied by the Welsh orchestra, providing songs such as "moon river" and "Wonderful", the couple captivated audiences with quicksteps, waltzes tango's and more, magnificently displaying the elegance and grace of Ballroom Dance at its best.
My informants (well cousin but hey sounds good :) ) say that the show was a wonderful way to spend the evening, Anton was hilarious and quite the showman, whereas Erin was poised elegant and beautiful. The costumes were fantastic and the music really created a sense of magic and Hollywood to the show.
